Save the date - July 24th!

It’s been a bit between updates, so there’s lots to share today. We’ll keep them shorter going forward - be on the lookout for monthly updates. But for now, let’s get to it…

We’re back!

The 3rd Annual Shoulder Check Showcase is being held July 24th at Terry Connors Rink in Stamford. Tickets available early May. Stay tuned for updates and follow @theshouldercheck on Instagram to be notified when tickets are live. Slightly more limited this year so don’t sleep on it!

From the Pee-Wees to the Pros and Beyond

Hopefully you’ve been following along on the Insta, but in case you haven’t, we’ve had an amazing few months bringing the Shoulder Check to life at every level of the game. From NHL clubs like the Bruins and Capitals, to the Sirens of the PWHL, along with the Wolfpack and Bruins of the AHL. Just as importantly the Shoulder Check has come to life at over 50 local rinks across the country. Not to mention a few basketball courts, some lacrosse fields and inside school auditoriums to boot.

Stay tuned to learn how you can sign your entire program up to be a part of it next season or school year.

Wilton Makes Contact!

It started with a Shoulder Check game between rivals then spread to the whole school, complete with a Shoulder Check pledge and a thousand hands on shoulders. Wilton High School and the Wilton Youth Council rock!

If you’re interested in bringing the Shoulder Check to your school or your community - reach out now as we’re booking up the calendar!

Marist University For The Win!

We started in the classroom, made friends with the Student Athlete Wellness Advocates (SAWA), became a marketing client for student-run ad agency North Road Communications, then brought it all to life with the Women’s Basketball squad for a featured match-up vs rival Sacred Heart. A big win in every way.

The Definition of Sportsmanship

It started at the beginning of the school year with Weymouth High School who made the Shoulder Check a part of team culture school-wide. Fast forward to the end of the year when Shoulder Check had the chance to be the keynote for the Bay State Conference’s annual Sportsmanship event.

We’ll be back with many of these schools next year and we’re headed out to Pittsburgh later this month to get things started there. Reach out if you want to explore how we might get it started for you.

Thanks For Reading!

That’s just a small snapshot of everything we’ve been up to the last couple months. We’ve got a ton more in store - with a dozen activations lined up for the month ahead, a new campaign in development, new partners and a new hire or two on the way. We’re so grateful for all the support. Let’s keep it going!
